Overview

Casa Rue´ is located just above the town of Recco, and a few kilometres from Santa Margherita Ligure, Rapallo and Portofino, Casa Ruè is an apartment with independent entrance and equipped with every comfort.

The beautiful swimming pool at the back, the terraced garden and its position make Casa Ruè very versatile, suitable for those who want to experience the town and the various seaside resorts and for those who just want to relax and enjoy the house.

From here, in fact, the most important tourist destinations of eastern Liguria are within easy reach. The property is completed by one parking space.

Casa Rue´ Overview

The resort has three floors. The main entrance on the first floor is reached by a staircase from the street level. From the main entrance a starcase goes up to the first sleeping area with an attic double bedroom, one bathroom with whirlpool tub and a large walk-in closet.

From the main entrance a starcase goes down to the living area, to a double room, to a twin bedroom, to two bathrooms with shower box and to a laundry room. The open space living area consists of a living room with TV and a dining room with two beautiful windows providing a relaxing view of the “Paradise Gulf” sea and the town of Recco.

A luminous French window leads out of the balcony. From the dining room you can enter the kitchen. A vertical piano completes the furniture of the living area.

Exterior:

The 300 sq m garden is the Ligurian type with terraces sloping towards the sea with olive trees, succulents and colourful flowers.

The area around the house is paved and organised as a dining area with gas barbecue and small relaxation areas, making the guests' stay even more pleasant.

On one side of the garden, on the upper terrace with respect to the house entrance, is the swimming pool.

Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

Private pool:

The pool is located on the upper terrace with respect to the first floor of the house and just a few metres from it. It lies on one side of the house and is reached up 9 steps.

Of irregular shape, it has an area of about 40 sq m with a constant depth of 1,90 m. It has chlorine purification and a ladder for access to the water.

A small solarium area is equipped with sunbeds. The pool is available from the last Saturday of April to the first Saturday of October.

Weekly rentals:

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

Short stays and non-weekly stays:

For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays starting from 5 nights.

Distances

Recco, in the Golfo Paradiso ('Paradise Gulf'), between Portofino and Genoa, is the perfect destination not only for the nearby beaches where it's possible to taste one of the most renown delicacies, the 'focaccia' of Recco, but also to reach the center of Rapallo (10 km), Camogli (4 km) with its famous fish festival on the first Sunday of May, and the more fashionable Santa Margherita Ligure and Portofino (15 km).

On the first week of September, there's also a Fire Festival ('Sagra del Fuoco') when volunteers from the seven town's districts get together to celebrate the 'Nostra Signora del Suffragio', matron saint, through a fireworks competition with the best Italian pyrotechnics experts.

Every year, this traditional Fire Festival draws thousands of people, who run to Recco to enjoy the local products, stroll through the many market stands but, most of all, witness the fireworks exhibitions as well as the traditional shooting of 'mascoli' (a particular type of fireworks).

Given the moderate climate of the area and the many history-rich towns nearby like Florence, Pisa, Lucca, all day-trip possibilities, Recco is an ideal destination even during mid-seasons, as Golfo Paradiso constantly enjoys a temperature 6/7 degrees different from Genoa.
