Il Gabbiano is a characteristic apartment in a small building set in a panoramic position overlooking the Ligurian Sea. It has been skilfully renovated while maintaining unaltered the typical local flavour without renouncing comforts such as the Jacuzzi tub with sea view in the garden.

Il Gabbiano is located just above the seaside town of Bordighera in one of the westernmost areas of the Riviera di Ponente, a few kilometres from the more fashionable Sanremo and Nice. Clients will appreciate not only the simple, modern style but also the great livability of the garden and the portico facing the Ligurian Sea.

Il Gabbiano is a beautiful ground floor apartment with independent entrance with a splendid sea view. The entrance to the property is from the garden with a beautiful portico and an elegant outdoor lounge with satellite TV.

The portico leads directly to the modern, fully-equipped kitchen; to the right of the kitchen is a double bedroom and a bathroom with shower, while behind the kitchen is a triple bedroom with direct exit out to the garden. The property includes a garage suitable for a medium-sized car and an outdoor parking space.

Exterior:

The 300 sq m fenced garden extends along the front and side of the property where privacy is guaranteed by the curtains and the canopy. The main part, paved in teak, contains the dining, relaxation and sunbathing areas, while in the perimetral and lateral areas, covered by lawn, is a hedge that guarantees even more privacy.

At the side of the property in a secluded position, but always with a panoramic view, is the jacuzzi tub that can comfortably accommodate 4 people. The exterior is equipped with a beautiful outdoor kitchen, facing the sea, equipped with two grills.

Please notice that photos are taken in spring, therefore flower blossoming, and the colours of the gardens' grass could be different at the moment of your arrival at the villa.

The standard typology is the one that foresees the regular Saturday- Saturday stay. In this case it is possible to send a request or to directly book online.

Short stays and non-weekly stays:

For some periods it is possible to make shorter stays starting from 5 nights.

Il Gabbiano is located in the Riviera di Ponente, in the renowned town of Bordighera with a rich architectural heritage which includes Villa Punta della Ruota with Winter garden, the Hotel Angst, the Sapergo Tower, Casa Rossi in Borghetto San Nicolò, the medieval Mostaccini Tower, Villa Amica, Villa La Cava, Villa Flora, Villa Selva Dolce, Villa Crosa, Villa Rosa, the Olimpia cinema and Villa Filomena.

Furthermore, just a few minutes away by car is Sanremo, one of the most important tourist centres in Liguria which owes its fame to the Casino and to the Italian Song Festival.

Other interesting places reachable in a short time are Arma di Taggia, a seaside town full of tourist attractions, night clubs and restaurants, Triora with its magnificent medieval borgo, Badalucco, renowned for its oil and murals, Ceriana, with its suggestive carruggi (alleys) and Bussana Vecchia with its International Artists' Village.
